Products

Zenesis provides two classes of products, Proprietary and Open Source both of which are supported via this web site. If you are one of our proprietary customers you will need a user account and password provided by us in order to access your secure area; please contact support@zenesis.com if you do not already have one.

The Open Source community area is freely available to all; the software is freely available although you will need to register an account with us if you want to post messages on the forums or use the bug tracker.

Open Source Projects

Open Source projects are listed below; you can access the forums and bug tracker for the projects from the Support page.

  • Oracle Plus - a set of extensions to the standard Oracle JDBC driver which make Oracle transparently compatible when using stored procedures. Oracle Plus allows third party tools such as report writers to call Oracle stored procedures to retrieve result sets without using Oracle's proprietary extensions.
  • AutoForms - an automated forms user interface based on AJAX and which separates presentation from business and data layers, AutoForms focuses on describing what you want to ask the user rather than how. No scripting or HTML is required, it supports dynamic components, database driven forms, Hibernate, and more. This product is coming soon and will be released when suitable documentation is complete.

Contributions

Being Open Source, naturally the products above are free (for non-commercial use) and we do not ask for contributions either - however, we support charitable donations for organisations and events which we are personally involved with; John Spackman, our lead developer and the developer of Oracle Plus, is running in the Bristol Half Marathon this year raising money for Barnardo's Children's Charity. Barnardo's is an officially recognised charity which has been working with vulnerable children and young people since 1867, please visit their site for more information.

If you find our software useful and you would like to make a donation please visit the John's page Just Giving website http://www.justgiving.co.uk/johnspackman. If you're a UK taxpayer then Just Giving will get your tax back from the government too.
